The Bells Steakhouse



Situated in the village of Silkstone this 1800 century public house has been lovingly and extensively renovated to create one of Barnsley's best Restaurants.

Chefs at the Bell’s have travelled, researched and sampled the length and breadth of the country so their diners can enjoy the best cuts of meat from the finest breeds of cattle.

Serving locally sourced produce that’s cooked over their INKA charcoal oven, enables the chefs to produce a delicious smoky barbeque taste. All meat served on the menu is hung for a minimum of 28 days in their own in-house dry ageing room. Menu highlights include 16oz Chateaubriand, 24oz T-bone steak and 320z Cote De boeuf, not to mention local favourite, The Bells burger. For anyone with a healthy appetite or for those who like to share, there’s the ‘aged meat platter’ board and also regularly changing fish and vegetarian special’s options.

The venue is full of character and charm with six bells from the original Public House as a main feature in “The Bell Tower” dining area with the Gargoyles staring mischievously down on guests. They also have two private dining areas “The Belfry” and “Wagonway” ideal for formal or informal events.
