Courses Pop Up Restaurant Sheffield’s Most Exciting New Dining Experience

Following a successful first event, Courses Sheffield’s new pop-up restaurant is set to impress once again on 7^th July. Showcasing their intimate and relaxed style of dining, based on a 10-course tasting menu with optional wine or cocktail pairing. They do not limit themselves to one style or cuisine, from modern British, to Nordic or classic French.
          
Headed up by Jamie Robinson, a chef since the age of 16 with experience throughout the UK in multi-award-winning kitchens, including his previous position as Head Chef at Sheffield’s renowned gastro pub and restaurant The Milestone.
Courses aim to opening a permanent restaurant in Sheffield off the back of their successful monthly pop-up events. With an exciting 10-course tasting menu priced at only £40 we can see this relaxed dining experience being hugely popular.
Jamie said: “Courses is the result of my raw passion and desire to cook and eat, so a lot of the dishes you will find us serving will be things I enjoy. Most of our servings start out as three main flavor concepts and then we start to think about how we can create that into a dish, tweaking, adding and removing ingredients/elements as we go, until the balance is right.
“The biggest issue I had working for others was the lack of excitement in the kitchen and restrictions on creativity. Courses allows me to push the boundaries and create the food I have long wanted to be cooking and so far, our guests have enjoyed it as much as I have!”
          
The dishes take influence from seasonality as well foraging and preservation, however this does not rule out any limitations with imagination being the biggest tool for development.
