Win a Traditional Spanish Calçotada Experience at Iberica

Ibérica restaurant is one of Leeds best and most stunning dining destinations. Bringing authentic Spanish cuisine to the UK alongside their love for quality, sourcing their produce directly from local producers in Spain.
We’re giving you the chance to win two tickets to join them for a Traditional Spanish Calçotada Experience on Tuesday 27th February. Calçotada is a winter-time Catalan tradition that revolves around eating calçots (giant spring onions) and drinking Cava and wine from “porrones” (carafes).

To enter the competition head over to our Facebook page. Winner announced 23rd February.

Traditionally the calçots are grilled or barbequed, their tough outers are peeled off and then the tender middle is dipped in ‘salsa de calçots’ or romesco sauce and eaten – in fact, lowered into the mouth in one go. Grilled meats usually follow and the food is accompanied by Cava and red wine.
Calçotadas can get quite messy (but that’s part of the fun) and bibs are usually worn.
