The highly popular and characterful Star Inn the City is Michelin Star Chef Andrew Pern’s first York restaurant. Andrew Pern said: “I wanted to spread the ethos of The Star Inn Harome and challenge the masses. We provide simple Yorkshire cooking with a taste of the countryside.”

Full of atmosphere, each room including adjoining terrace has a different look and feel, creating the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course afternoon tea. Although their menu stays the same their Market Menu can change twice daily based on what’s fresh and available on the day.
