Baking Masterclass at Malton Cookery School

Malton Cookery School, located within ‘Yorkshire’s Foodie Capital’, is surrounded by some of the UK’s best artisanal makers and food producers. Whether it’s learning the basics, enhancing existing skills with new techniques or perfecting classic dishes, whatever your age or ability there will be a course that’s just right for you.
If you already have a grounding in basic baking but would like to learn some more complicated recipes this is the course for you.
With a passion for baking, a craving for all things sweet and a dusting of flour you can create a fine selection of baked beauties. This course is a celebration of delicious ingredients as you travel through a range of baking techniques. From the secrets to a perfect scone to adorning your cake stand with sweet delights, discover these timeless, delicious baked treats that are perfect to enjoy with a refreshing pot of tea with family and friends.
At the end of your baking day you will leave with treats to take home, recipes that you can replicate at home and of course your own Malton Cookery School apron as a souvenir of your day.

Order of the Day
10 am: Arrive at Malton Cookery School for tea, coffee and biscuits. Experienced class tutor Gilly will take you through the day’s program and issue you with your aprons and menu packs.
Dishes are prepared are eaten throughout the day with wine or soft drinks.
Your day concludes at 4 pm. Apron and menu packs are taken home with you, so you can replicate the dishes at home. The courses include – All ingredients, menu pack, Malton Cookery School apron and a glass of wine or two!

Terms & Conditions
Full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable within 4 weeks from the date your course is due to commence. Booking fees (£5 per ticket) are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel or amend your course, please let Malton Cookery School know at the earliest opportunity by contacting them on 01653639096 and they will try their utmost to re-sell your place.
Malton Cookery School reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a course where necessary or it is impractical for a course to run effectively.
By booking on any of Malton Cookery School’s courses you agree to abide by their terms and conditions. They reserve the right to make amendments to the cookery course’s content and recipes without notice.
In the event that the principal tutor is unable to attend a course due to illness or other matters beyond our control, Malton Cookery School reserves the right to run the course using a deputy in their place.
