Oktoberfest Leeds 2018 has now ended. Click HERE to view upcoming events across Yorkshire.
One of Germany’s largest traditional festivals and one of the largest beer festivals in the world, Oktoberfest Leeds version will set you up for a true celebration – of both beer, and all things Bavarian.
Get ready to swing a stein or two to the strains of a cheerful oompah band, don those lederhosen and whip out that GCSE German (definitely optional) at the South Bank Depot. Walking distance from Leeds’ train station, this Globe Road venue is at the heart of the South Bank regeneration Leeds has been witnessing over the last few years. Less than 100 tickets remain for Friday, and Thursday is close behind. only a select few Saturday tickets remain.
A range of German beers await the Oktoberfest Leeds partygoer, but there will also be plenty for the non-beer drinker too, with wine, prosecco and soft drinks also readily available at the bar. Food wise, you won’t be drinking on an empty stomach, with all the Bavarian favourites on offer, from Bratwurst to Currywurst.
And of course, no Oktoberfest is complete without an in-house oompah band, who will keep the party going all evening (and afternoon) long, with a mixture of singalong hits and Bavarian classics.
James Bolger, Oktoberfest Leeds promoter said: “We can’t wait to transform South Bank Depot into the North of England’s largest Bavarian-style beer hall once again for one weekend only. This year, we’ve gone all out to ensure our guests are treated to the most authentic experience in the region – with Bavarian cuisine, authentic Oktoberfest beer and our resident Oompah band returning to Leeds once again.”
Tickets include Standard tickets and VIP tickets (including VIP entrance, entry into the raised VIP area, shared table, 1 free stein, waiter/waitress table service) or the VIP package (including a private table for up to 8 people within the raised VIP area close to the band, 8 free steins, and waiter/waitress table service).
