Located within the renowned Rockliffe Hall, the Brasserie restaurant celebrates the finest seasonal produce from farmers and artisan producers across the North East and Yorkshire. Bringing them together to create international dishes, enjoyed with views to die for and atmosphere aplenty.

Rockliffe Hall is the perfect setting for an idyllic foodie escape. Situated on the edge of the County Durham and North Yorkshire border, this luxury hotel offers an award-winning spa, a championship golf course and three restaurants to cater for all palates.

The Brasserie is headed up by Chef Aaron Craig. One of the North East and Yorkshire’s most highly regarded chefs having worked all over the UK and Europe at a range of prominent places including Heston Blumenthal’s three Michelin-starred restaurant the Fat Duck, which was voted 2nd best restaurant in the world. Aaron is also a member of Master Chefs of Great Britain.

Open daily from light bites through to dinner, expect seasonal dishes with international flavours and with many containing ingredients grown within the Rockliffe estate. Aaron sources his fish from the North Sea, game from the Yorkshire estates and meat is from Country Valley in Neasham.

Rockliffe’s location is perfect for discovering the treasures of Durham city, the drama of the North East coastline and the rugged beauty of the North Yorkshire moors.
