The Coach House at Middleton Lodge Estate

The Coach House at Middleton Lodge Estate is a destination restaurant on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales serving hearty classics with a modern twist, where you’re just as welcome in your wellies as your floaty dress.

Diners can expect strong, rustic flavours, a seasonal menu with an emphasis on provenance, and ingredients grown on the estate making their way to each plate.

A large focus at the restaurant is sustainability. Creating low food mile menus, cooking with electric kitchens, growing as much produce onsite and adding a new biodigester for kitchen waste are just a few measures the restaurant has in place. Electric car charging units have also been installed.

Interiors have been designed by co-owner Rebecca Allison. There’s a strong botanical feel and diners are welcomed to a warm and cosy setting. It’s a heritage building which has been brought back to life, a place to eat and gather.
