Headed up by renowned local Chef Dean Sowden, Scran Harrogate serves a small plates menu of international flavours, using locally sourced ingredients.

At Scran Harrogate, diners can taste various mouth-watering dishes that encourage sharing and a discovery of different flavours. Their a la carte menu is split into Quick Scran, Surf, Turf, and Earth with dishes such as Crispy Brie ‘Popcorn’ with Strawberry Relish, Cajun Grilled Sea Bass Tacos and Harrisa Spiced Butternut Squash Falafel Sliders in Brioche buns.

On Sundays expect a varied brunch style menu served 12-8pm.

Executive Chef Dean Sowden, previously of Harrogate’s longstanding Deano’s Graze and Grill cut his teeth at the age of 16, working alongside Michelin Starred Chef Simon Gueller at ‘Millers’ in Harrogate. His culinary journey has seen him in many well-established restaurants throughout Yorkshire such as Rascasse and Harvey Nichols in Leeds, picking up numerous accolades along the way.

Scran Harrogate is located with The Yorkshire Hotel. Built in 1818 with its stunning Victorian façade, incredible rooftop view of the town and 81 bedrooms.
