Renowned Pop Up Restaurant Chateau Marmot Returns to Leeds

Renowned Pop Up Restaurant Chateau Marmot Returns to Leeds
Renowned roaming restaurant and legendary cheese masters turn Yorkshire produce into five star pop-up
Legendary touring restaurant Chateau Marmot is joining forces with Yorkshire cheese legends Shepherds Purse and Riverford’s chef for two nights only on the 29th and 30th June in Leeds.
That’s right Leeds…the Marmot’s back and this one’s a corker! They’ve teamed up with the amazing Shepherds Purse cheese, the multi award winning single estate producer in Thirsk, to bring you two nights of fabulous five course dining.
They’ve secured the talents of one of the country’s rising star chefs: Patrick Hanna, currently heading up the Riverford Field Kitchen and writing the Riverford cookbook (the same incredible people you get your veg box from). The extremely talented Patrick’s previous roles include stints at cult eateries such as L’Entrepot, Duck Soup and Rochelle Canteen in London.
You know and love Shepherds Purse’s Harrogate Blue, Yorkshire Blue and Yorkshire Fettle, but just wait until you taste what they’re going to do with these and their other now iconic, award winning cheeses. The founders will take part in a live Q&A to tell you everything about the various curds and whey.
Wines will be selected from independent growers and suppliers, craft beers carefully curated and unique cocktails crafted using ingredients from the food menu. The venue for this event is an extremely hip, top secret city centre location – no one has EVER done a pop-up there before!
Chateau Marmot launched six years ago in Yorkshire, working as a kind of travelling show around the UK and Australia, with the specific aim of offering fine dining without the pomp, ceremony and costs that normally come with eating the best food. They offer temporary dining in unusual locations across the country with an emphasis on keeping things simple: an exciting, creative tasting menu, great wine, great service.
