The Dales Festival of Food and Drink 2017 brings together the best food and drink the Yorkshire Dales has to offer, over a two day event held in the heart of Leyburn Market Town.
Last year the event attracted over 6,000 visitors across the weekend to enjoy and taste the best food and drink the Dales has to offer. This year the Dales Festival of Food & Drink is taking place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th June and welcomes over 80 Food and Drink stalls. Across the weekend there will also be local band performances, chef demonstrations, craft exhibitors, wellbeing talks and all things foodie! Get all the event details.
Following such a successful Dales Festival of Food and drink in 2016, The Wensleydale Creamery is delighted to be the main sponsor again for this year’s event. This year the Wensleydale Creamery is working with the Dales Festival of Food and Drink to bring together the best cheese-making in the Yorkshire Dales. Featuring local artisan producers, this unique area showcases British cheese from ‘God’s Own County’, and cheese-makers from the area are encouraged to exhibit their wares and give visitors a true taste of Yorkshire.

The Wensleydale Creamery is based in Hawes in Wensleydale and is home to the award winning Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese. It works closely with the Dales economy annually contributing more than £10 million to the community and champions local produce, sourcing milk from over 40 local farms to handcraft its range of cheese, yogurt & butter.
The Dales Festival of Food & Drink is open from 9am until 6pm both days and is free entry for all the family but parking charges apply at £5.00 per vehicle, the car parks are located on the outskirts of Leyburn and a shuttle bus will bring you in to the square on the weekend.
