DOMO Leeds : Loved Sheffield Sardinian restaurant confirms new opening

One of the most popular restaurants in Sheffield, DOMO, is set to open in Leeds.

This family-run Sardinian restaurant has become an absolute favourite for local foodies and those visiting the Steel City alike.

Once a factory, the restaurants’ stripped-back interiors and high ceilings reveal the industrial history of Kelham Island.

Meanwhile, muted dusty pink tones and warm lighting help create a vibrant, welcoming feel at DOMO.

DOMO serves a huge selection of authentic seafood dishes, fresh pastas and decadent desserts, that has eager guests coming back again and again.

It’s an ideal spot for an intimate date night or a gathering with friends, with plenty of antipasti and a cocktail menu you’ll be keen to explore.

Some of our favourites include Pacchi e Pistocchi or the rich Tortellone Su Sirbone – delicious.

Owners Raffaele Busceddu and Sarah Elliot wowed with their South Yorkshire site and even opened Kelu, a rooftop skybar in the nearby area too.

We can’t wait for DOMO to now be joining Leeds’ thriving hospitality scene, offering a vibrant slice of Sardinian sunshine.

The new restaurant will sit cosily overlooking the canal, next to BAKE, another more recent foodie opening we love.

Addressing the rumours on Instagram, the owners said:

“It’s been a long time coming, but Domo 2.0 is finally cooking. We’ve mostly spent admiring the views and getting to know the new neighbours.”

The opening is said to be in April, but a date has yet to be announced.

So, make sure you keep your eyes peeled, and keep up to date with the latest foodie news near you. There will be plenty of sharing plates and spritzes to delve into very soon.
