In a perfect location of arguably the coolest part of the city, Kelham Wine Bar had to make our list of the best in Sheffield. This neighbourhood bar overlooks the river, and there’s plenty of outdoor space to sit back and enjoy a glass in the sun.

There are sharing boards and fresh flatbreads to graze on, making this the perfect spot for a post-work drink or two.

Bench La Cave

Brought to you by the owners of Bench, a favoured restaurant in Sheffield, Bench La Cave is a snug bakery by day, and a wine bar/restaurant in the evening.

We’d recommend picking a bottle of wine from their selection, small plates to share and a healthy portion of sourdough bread and salty butter – delicious.

Tenaya Bar is certainly contributing to the growing foodie scene in Crookes, Sheffield. This bottleshop and bar provides a unique and accessible wine selection, focusing on female producers and sustainability.

They frequently host events, collaborating with local suppliers and bringing the local community together, over great wine.

Elm

Outside of the city centre, Elm in Broomhall serves delicious pastries and cakes with freshly ground coffee, and sells gift-worthy bottles of wine too. By night, Elm transforms into a bustling neighbourhood restaurant.

Curated by Chef Nathan Wall, Wednesday to Saturday, diners can indulge in a monthly changing short or long set menu.

Tempting bottles of their wines are dotted around this restaurant, so you can have a proper nosy before picking your bottle of choice – this spot definitely makes our list as one of the best wine bars in Sheffield.
