The Good Food Guide has announced their top bakeries across the UK – and we’re thrilled to see three Yorkshire spots have made the cut.
Whether it’s a crusty loaf of sourdough to smoother in salted butter or a crisp croissant and a coffee for your Sunday morning walk – it’s hard to beat a proper bakery. So, without further ado, here’s some of the top bakeries in Yorkshire.

First up is Baker’s Yard in Sheffield, run by avid foodies Sam and Becca. From baking delicious breads, brownies and cookies in their home, to opening their own site – it’s become a true gem and it’s no wonder Baker’s Yard has made the list as one of the best bakeries in Yorkshire.
This micro bakery serves delicious baked goods and speciality coffee. Customers can expect simple, delicious dishes and small plates that elevate quality local produce.

Haxby Bakehouse, York

They serve up fresh sandwiches and barista-made coffee come lunchtime, making it the perfect stop-off after a walk around Leeds’ dock – it’s undoubtedly one of the best bakeries in Yorkshire.
