In these unprecedented times, we’re fully committed to our loyal foodie followers and the amazing local businesses we work with. These are tough times for us all, but we will get through this together.

That’s why we’ve introduced the Yorkshire Food Guide COVID-19 Guarantee. To protect those who have purchased or are intending to purchase any of our exclusive offers. We want you to feel comfortable to continue supporting local businesses and investing in things to look forward to.

What’s more, the hotels and restaurants across our region have worked tirelessly to put a number of COVID safety measures in place, so you can still treat yourself or a fellow foodie safely.

COVID-19 Restrictions

If you have already purchased a voucher:

If your voucher is due to expire and you have been unable to use your voucher due to previous Tier restrictions and/or current national lockdown – we will extend your vouchers validity date so you can attend once the venue has re-opened.

If you’re planning to purchase a voucher:

Vouchers for venues are valid for 3, 6 or 12 months, following the date that the restaurants/hotels re-open. This information can be found in the ‘WHEN CAN I GO’ section of each offer.

If we return to the Tier system after the national lockdown – If you’re in Tier 3 and unable to attend the Tier 2 area before the voucher expires, we will extend your voucher’s validity date further.


You have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a refund if your voucher has not yet been used. If you are passed 14 days since the date of purchase, we will be able to extend your voucher due to the restrictions as noted above.

We do ask that to support the Yorkshire Food Guide and the businesses that we work with, that requesting a refund is your last option. Instead please opt for an extension on your voucher, so you can attend when you’re safely able to do so.

Please make sure you cancel any existing bookings you have made with the hotel or restaurant first, at least 24 hours in advance – then contact us for a refund via [email protected] Please provide your name, order number and refund reason.
