In these unprecedented times, we’re fully committed to our loyal foodie followers and the amazing local businesses we work with. These are tough times for us all, but we will get through this together.
That’s why we’ve introduced the Yorkshire Food Guide COVID-19 Guarantee. To protect those who have purchased or are intending to purchase any of our exclusive offers. We want you to feel comfortable to continue supporting local businesses and investing in things to look forward to.
What’s more, the hotels and restaurants across our region have worked tirelessly to put a number of COVID safety measures in place, so you can still treat yourself or a fellow foodie safely.

Even in the highest Very High Alert area (Tier 3), you’re still able to eat out with those you live with, in your local area. It is only pubs and bars who do not serve food that will be closed.
If you cannot travel as your area goes into the Very High Alert Level (Tier 3) OR the venue you have purchased your voucher for goes into the Very High Alert Level (Tier 3): Most of our vouchers are valid for at least ‘3 months following the date of purchase’ or in some cases longer. This information can be found in the ‘WHEN CAN I GO’ section of each offer.
If you’re unable to travel out of/or to a Very High Alert area – we will extend the validity of your voucher so that you can attend when it is safe to do so.
Those in the medium (Tier 1) and high alert (Tier 2) levels are still able to travel to dine outside of your local area.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19: We will extend the validity of your voucher so that you can attend when it is safe to do so.
We do ask that to support the Yorkshire Food Guide and the businesses that we work with, that requesting a refund is your last option. Instead please opt for an extension on your voucher, so you can attend when you’re safely able to do so.
You have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a refund if your voucher has not yet been used. Please make sure you cancel any existing bookings you have made with the hotel or restaurant first, at least 24 hours in advance – then contact us for a refund via [email protected] Please provide your name, order number and refund reason.
