The award-winning Ilkley Brewery has announced the opening of its first-ever taproom with rotating cask ales and a new food menu, set to open in August of this year.
Taking over the former Joel’s Kitchen and Bar on Grove Promenade, the new venture marks the first of its kind for the business.
Owner of Ilkley Brewery, Luke Raven, posted a picture of the building with ‘Coming Soon’ banners on the brewery’s social media accounts to mark the news.
In a post on their website, the brewery revealed the taproom is set to feature over 20 beer taps including some of Ilkley Brewery’s top-selling cask ales.
The taproom will also feature rotating specials on its 12-tap wall, including a dedicated alcohol-free line.
And if beer isn’t your thing, Ilkley Brewery has teamed up with Martinez to create a carefully selected wine list.
Based on Ashland Road, Ilkley Brewery has a lot to celebrate in 2024 with the 15th birthday also taking place this year coinciding with the new launch.
In the last 15 years, the brewery has brewed 17.4 million pints with 365 different beers featured.
Ilkley Brewery is known for its vast variety of draft, canned and barrel-aged beers, with some even gaining national recognition.
Their Mary Jane session pale ale won national awards back in 2009, while still remaining a firm favourite of the brewery’s.
Punters can expect a range of menus in the new taproom, from bar nibbles to brunches and roasts.
