Pearly Cow, York

Located 10 minutes away from York Minster, Pearly Cow is a real hidden gem with an elegant, glossy interior. There is even a private dining area for groups which creates an intimate, homely feel without compromising on style.

This restaurant is committed to respecting the herds, breeds, crops, and catches that characterise the native wildlife. Only using the best, most natural produce from the land and the sea.

Bar & Restaurant EightyEight, Grantley Hall, Ripon

First up is EightyEight, a bar and restaurant within luxury 5-star hotel Grantley Hall, Ripon. Where gorgeous décor is set against the stunning backdrop of ornamental Japanese Gardens. This spot is far more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience.

No need to worry about the temperamental British weather as the EightyEight Terrace is fully covered.

Located next to the enchanting Japanese Garden and gentle sounds of its water features, the terrace makes for a beautiful setting to enjoy a unique fusion of far Eastern flavours and masterfully crafted innovative cocktails.

Bosuns at The Riverfront, York

Bosuns at The Riverfront York is an award-winning restaurant, just outside of the city centre.

This pick is so much more than an exquisite dining destination. Sat on the banks of the river Ouse, this beautiful Yorkshire restaurant has it all – with boat trips, glamping, and dog-friendly cabin stays all onsite.

Bosuns restaurant has large glass windows and panoramic riverside views, whilst still being nestled in greenery. Expect seasonal, farm-fresh produce in each dish.

Domo, Sheffield

Situated in the middle of little Kelham, Domo has quickly become a favourite for locals and visitors of the steel city. The former mill still retains some elements of its industrial interior, which is combined with dusty pink decor and a great atmosphere.

While the interior is certainly allowing Domo to make our list, their signature cocktails and small plates are crafted with a flourish, making an all-around it a picture-perfect visit.

This family-run restaurant has a welcoming feel, and delicious plates of rich pasta, fresh seafood and charcuterie sharers make it a real gem in the city.

CrowdedHouse, Leeds

A more recent opening that is becoming a firm favourite in Leeds, is CrowdedHouse. With floor to ceiling views far over the city centre, sip on classic cocktails and watch the sun go down.

Their dining menu never fails to impress, whether it’s some accompanying nibbles to your glass of wine, or three-courses of seasonal dishes.

Saltmoore, Sandsend

The ultimate wellness retreat in Sandsend just has to make our list for the most beautiful restaurants in Yorkshire. The Brasserie has sleek interiors and intimate lighting, where Michelin-recommended fine dining is served in style.

The Orangerie is a bright, airy dining space for leisurely lunches, afternoon tea and breakfast, with refreshing neutral tones and stunning heather flower arrangements.

Uyare, Leeds

With vibrant interiors and an elegant bar area, Uyare is a sleek rooftop restaurant serving delicious South Indian dishes.

Sun-trapped cocktails on the terrace, before dining in their stunning restaurant area. Go for flavour-packed seafood and simmered curries, there are plenty of options if you’re veggie too. Uyare is an ideal date night spot, and easily one of the prettiest restaurants in Leeds.

The Westwood, Beverley

2AA Rosette and Michelin recommended, you know you’re in safe hands at The Westwood in Beverley. Since 2007 they’ve been serving quality, modern British dishes and tempting cocktails in their hidden W Bar.

Set within the grounds of Beverley’s former Grade II listed Georgian courthouse, you can opt to dine al-fresco on their outdoor terrace and mull over an unfussy but delicious menu.

Blue Sakura, Leeds

Blue Sakura is a colourful, eclectic restaurant complete with cherry blossom tree decors and fun touch-screen technology. On the edge of the city centre, this restaurant showcases all-you-can-eat Japanese-style tapas.

Think endless fresh sushi and spicy skewers. Their cocktail menu is nothing short of impressive, with innovative drinks such as ‘Guifei’s Lychee’ and ‘Kiwi Kyoto’ – as well as popular classics.

Blue Sakura is undoubtedly one of the city’s most prettiest of restaurants, and it makes a great alternative date-night pick.

Samuels Restaurant at Swinton Park Hotel & Estate, Ripon

As featured on the BBC’s Amazing Hotels series, Swinton Park Hotel is a Grade II Listed castle, owned by the same family since the 1880s.

Inside the hotel, you’ll find Samuel’s Restaurant, where talented Executive Chef Lawrence Yates serves up a seasonal a la carte menu of show-stopping traditional British and European classics.

To be honest, naming this as the prettiest restaurant doesn’t quite cut it, as Samuel’s is a real taste of royalty. Go for elegant high ceilings, a stunning marble mantelpiece and intimate, dimly lit tables.

Tattu, Leeds

It couldn’t be a list of the most beautiful restaurants in Yorkshire without mentioning Tattu, situated right in Leeds’ bustling city centre.

Tattu’s interior has won awards for its immersive, intricate design and attention to detail, with white cherry blossom trees hanging over dimly lit tables.

It’s truly the location for a celebration to remember, with creative cocktails and theatrical dishes making Tattu a hot spot in Leeds and one of the most beautiful restaurants in Yorkshire.
