The Wild Plum
Available: Wednesday – Saturday
Chef Bethany Haresign heads an all-female kitchen team at The Wild Plum, and she trained under a Michelin Starred chef, so you know you’re in good hands. Using all local Yorkshire ingredients, the team whip up dishes such as fluffy breakfast pancakes with bacon, eggs and maple syrup, butternut squash fritters, or the adorably named ‘Crumpet like it’s hot’ – homemade crumpets served with wild mushrooms, poached egg, pumpkin pesto and truffle. The décor is a botanists dream, with hanging plants and twinkly lights. They don’t take bookings, so get there early to avoid disappointment.
