Newly Michelin Guide-listed CORA in Boston Spa to host celebratory French bistro evening

CORA is a contemporary bakehouse and fine dining restaurant based in Boston Spa. Headed up by Elizabeth Cottam (Chef Patron and Owner of acclaimed Leeds restaurants HOME and The Owl).
To celebrate being listed in the prestigious Michelin Guide, CORA will be holding a special French Bistro evening on Thursday 17th March where authentic French wine will be paired with French food. Diners will be treated to an evening that celebrates all things France, in homage to the passionate partly French team. Expect 5 delicious courses, wine and stories for £100 per person.
The restaurant’s inclusion in the Michelin Guide is particularly impressive after having opened just last year and joins Elizabeth Cottam’s HOME in the esteemed guide. The Michelin Guide highlighted CORA’s versatility, and how it offers something for everyone: “from brunch through to dinner and from single dishes to multi-course tasting menus”.
Enhancing their unique dining experiences further, the restaurant will also be hosting a special Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch on March 27th, a five course chef’s tasting menu with optional wine pairings. Featuring courses such as slow cooked lamb shoulder, hot smoked trout and a cauliflower velouté with pickled cauliflower and caviar. The new Sunday lunch offering will be available all year, not just for Mother’s Day.
Elizabeth Cottam said: “So proud to be featured in the Michelin Guide at such an early stage of the CORA journey. The celebration dinner is something we have put together especially to honour, with a french bistro special menu on Thursday 17th March. CORA is designed to be enjoyed by everyone from our baked-in house treats, to our Sunday lunches, to special occasion dinners.
We are so passionate here about the senior team being all women and I love developing female chefs and welcoming women into this industry, which is very white male heavy.”
