The Devonshire Arms near Skipton opens new charcuterie and wine bar
//= get_the_date( 'dS F Y' ); ?>
Inspired by European charcuterie and wine bar culture, The Garden Room at The Devonshire Arms, Skipton has opened a brand-new dining venture, The Charcuterie & Wine Bar.
Expect a variety of locally sourced fresh produce, including items from the kitchen garden at The Devonshire Arms, as well as a small selection of artisan producers.
At this charcuterie and wine bar, you can create your own grazing platter from home-cured meats, cheeses from Courtyard Dairy, and fresh fish and seafood from the Yorkshire and North East coastlines.

You can even choose to dine in The Garden Room, lounge or bar area, or outdoors in the Italian Garden.
Executive Head Chef Adam Harper said: “We wanted to bring a fresh approach to dining at The Devonshire Arms, something different which would showcase the best of our established reputation for great hospitality, but in a way that was far more resonant for the modern diner and today’s lifestyle preferences.
Part of a new chapter in which we honour our links to the estate, the countryside and the wider environment too. We’re excited to embrace this change and in turn offer something new to our diners.”

The Devonshire Arms, Skipton will offer Iberico ham, produced from acorn-fed pigs and locally-cured Yorkshire ham and Beef Bresaola, made with Bolton Abbey Estate air-dried beef, home-cured with herbs and wine.
Cheeses are exclusively sourced from the renowned local producer and retailer, Courtyard Dairy.

Grazing plates pair a selection of cold meats and cheeses, with mouth-watering extras, such as cornichons, truffle honey, thyme and black pepper crackers, freshly-baked sourdough and Chatsworth oil.
Paired with the food menu are some of the world’s most exceptional wines available to buy by the glass, and they will be changed regularly as part of an evolving wine program at The Devonshire Arms, Skipton.
Could this be one of the best charcuterie and wine bars in Yorkshire?

The new dining concept will be open 7 days a week, from midday until 8.30 pm.
Bookings can be made online, or just walk in!
