Fodder Harrogate unveils a fresh milk vending machine

Fodder Harrogate has launched a new collaboration with innovative dairy farmers, Milk from the Hills, offering fresh and excellent quality milk from a vending machine.
Fodder’s farm shop champions regional products from farmers and producers, collaborating closely with over 400 Yorkshire suppliers.
They have now partnered with Milk from the Hills, a fourth-generation family farm known for it’s sustainability, and high-quality milk – they were a huge hit at the Great Yorkshire Show.
Managing Director of Milk from the Hills, James Hill, says: “We were blown away by the reception we received at the Great Yorkshire Show, which was recognised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, who invited us to become part of their Food Hall.
We are proud to be joining a team who champion and support local farmers.”

The collaboration will feature fresh cow’s milk and delicious flavoured milkshakes available from a vending machine inside Fodder’s farm shop.
Four regular milkshake flavours will be available: chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and banana. Plus, there are two weekly specials to choose from each week.
The milk is gently pasteurised and non-homogenised, straight from the farm in Barnsley.
With low food miles and reusable glass bottles, it makes the new venture very much in line with both Fodder and Milk from the Hill’s commitments to sustainability.
There’s also a live cow cam so you can watch the magic happen in real time!
Fodder General Manager, Vanessa Pitt, says: “Our link up with Milk from the Hills is a really exciting ‘first’ in the Harrogate area, which adds a whole new dimension to a visit to Fodder.
“It also demonstrates just how passionate we are about showcasing innovative and forward-thinking Yorkshire suppliers. The milk and milkshakes are absolutely delicious, so fresh, and we know our customers will love them!”

Fodder has just undergone its biggest makeover since opening in 2009. They’ve even launched a brand-new menu in their cafe featuring locally sourced produce exclusively from their shop.
Most importantly, all profits go back to the charity, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society to support farmers and the countryside.
Head over to Fodder Harrogate and try the new milkshake machine for yourself!
