Bring a taste of the continent to Leeds at the Tower Works Euro Summer Street Food Festival. Set beside the canal at Mustard Wharf, this free-to-enter weekend brings together European street food, drinks, makers and live music, with everything from authentic Italian and Greek dishes to Hungarian langos and Dutch poffertjes.
Add European-inspired cocktails, Sardinian wines and a soundtrack from Mambo Jambo, and it’s a suitably sunny way to squeeze a little more out of summer

Outdoor Cinema Evening
Grantley Hall’s West Lawn will be transformed into an outdoor cinema for a special screening of F1: The Movie, starring Brad Pitt. Guests can settle into deck chairs in front of a giant LED screen, with a welcome drink and freshly popped popcorn included. Tickets from £45 per person.

York Beer & Cider Festival
Beer lovers should make a beeline for St Lawrence Parish Church in York, where the York Beer & Cider Festival takes place. Expect more than 200 beers and ciders, alongside wines, meads, food and the atmospheric surroundings of one of York’s historic churches.
With a proper CAMRA festival feel and plenty to sample, it’s a must for anyone who prefers their September evenings with a well-poured pint.

DogFest on the Farm
If your ideal day out involves muddy boots and a very happy dog, DogFest on the Farm at Harewood House is one to put in the diary. This dog-focused weekend combines sheepdog trials, working displays, agility, races, breed meet-ups and have-a-go activities, alongside local food and Yorkshire makers.
