Grantley Hall welcomes Winter with a new look for The Orchard

There’s a new reason to visit Grantley Hall this winter, as The Orchard welcomes back Moët & Chandon for another sensational seasonal makeover complete with cosy lodge interiors, Champagne and a menu perfect for sharing.
We paid a visit to see the transformation for ourselves, with The Orchard swapping its spring and summer look for something cosier and intimate.
Think deep navy tones, frosted florals and chandelier lighting, bringing a touch of winter glamour to the North Yorkshire countryside.

The result is a chic indoor-outdoor retreat made for crisp afternoons, leisurely lunches and festive evenings that stretch a little longer over a glass of Champagne.
The new menu brings an indulgent approach to winter dining, with comforting classics and a few playful additions designed to be enjoyed together.
Leading the way is a traditional cheese fondue, served with cured ham, heritage potatoes, cornichons, balsamic onion and sourdough croutons.
And for dessert, The Orchard is introducing a chocolate fountain for two paired with marshmallows, madeleines, strawberries and banana ready for dipping.
Other showstoppers include French onion soup topped with Gruyère croutons, woodland mushroom arancini with truffle mayonnaise and shaved winter truffle, and wild venison sausages served with smoked cheddar mash, cavolo nero and blackberries.
It’s a menu designed perfectly for the colder months, whether you’re stopping by for a warming lunch or planning a festive celebration around plenty of food and champagne.

This is the latest chapter for The Orchard, which has seen many amazing themes created throughout 2026 by the iconic Interior and Ambience Manager Marek Jurczyk.
Nuno César de Sá, General Manager at Grantley Hall, said: “The Orchard has always been a space that evolves with the seasons and this winter we wanted to create somewhere that feels warm, inviting and completely transporting.
“We’re delighted to welcome Moët & Chandon back to The Orchard and bring together beautiful interiors with festive menus to create a space that truly captures the spirit of winter at Grantley Hall.”

Open to both hotel residents and non-residents, The Orchard is well worth adding to your list this winter when you’re looking for something that bit more special for the festive season.
