This December (Fri 2^nd – Sun 4^th) The Black Swan Hotel will host its annual skating event, with pop-up ice rink and overlooking Helmsley’s historic market place and heralding the start of the festive season in this pretty North Yorkshire Market town.
The festive-themed ice rink is a generous size (12m squared) and can accommodate up to 50 skaters at one time, with its smart white picket fence and brightly-lit Christmas trees surrounding it, is truly spectacular and suited to adults and children alike, resident and non-residents.  Opening times are 10.30am until 7.30pm, Friday – Sunday. Booking is not required.
Admission is £7.00 per person (30 minutes), including skate hire. Refreshments including mulled wine, soft drinks, wine, beers and tasty hot and cold snacks will also be available for skaters and spectators to enjoy ‘al fresco’ from the pop-up Bar.
