The Savvy Baker, renowned for its delectable brownies and blondies, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new Savvy Baker Cafe at 16 Swinegate, York, this June.
After making waves in Leeds with mouth-watering treats and creative beverages, co-founders Savannah Roqaa and Jordan Simms are excited to bring their beloved Savvy Baker Cafe and bakery to the heart of York.
The team at the Savvy Baker Cafe has crafted a special drinks menu just for York, featuring crowd-pleasers like the Raspberry Iced Matcha, indulgent Iced Biscoff with Biscoff Cold Cream, creamy Iced Kinder with Hazelnut Cold Cream, and the nostalgic Iced Chocolate with Coco Pops.
Alongside these unique offerings, customers can enjoy speciality coffee brewed from North Star roast beans.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to finally open our doors in York,” said Savannah Roqaa, co-founder of The Savvy Baker. “From starting in my kitchen during lockdown to seeing huge queues at our first pop-up in Leeds, the journey has been incredible.

The Savvy Baker has built a loyal following thanks to its famous brownies and blondies, which quickly became a sensation in Leeds.
What began as a lockdown project in Savannah’s small kitchen rapidly expanded, culminating in the opening of their first cafe in Roundhay, Leeds and now their new Savvy Baker Cafe York location.
To celebrate the grand opening, The Savvy Baker Cafe will offer the first 100 customers a complimentary brownie, as well as special promotions on their unique drinks throughout the opening week.
