Great British Menu Star Appointed Head Chef at Swinton Estate

One of Yorkshire’s leading luxury hotels has appointed rising culinary star Jamie Keeble as Head Chef of its acclaimed Chef’s Table restaurant ahead of its relaunch this autumn.

Keeble, who joins Swinton Estate from Michelin-starred Mýse, will take charge of the 12-seat dining experience when it reopens on 1st October 2026.

Set within the historic Coach House on Swinton Estate, the Michelin Guide-listed Chef’s Table has built a reputation for its immersive estate-to-plate dining experience.

Under Keeble’s leadership, the restaurant will continue to champion seasonal British cooking, with ingredients sourced from the estate’s garden, tenant farmers and local Yorkshire producers.

Keeble’s arrival comes shortly after Steve Darou joined Swinton Estate as executive head chef from London’s renowned St. John restaurant group, marking a significant new chapter for the estate’s food scene.

The Chef’s Table will reopen on 1st October, serving eight-course dinners from Wednesday to Saturday and a five-course lunch on Saturdays. Dinner will be priced from £110 per person, with optional wine pairings from £85.
