The best time of the year is upon us, with the days drawing in and the temperature dropping. Harrogate’s Great Yorkshire Showground shows no sign of hibernation, as this season’s event calendar is looking busier than ever.
Kicking off the festive season is Harrogate Autumn Lights, which will be boasting the showground’s biggest firework display to date. After that, Christmas will have well and truly arrived, from fairs to parties and even cooking masterclasses. Christmas is going to be jampacked for the Great Yorkshire Showground.
The best part of it all is that all profits raised from each event throughout the festive season will go back into the pockets of the countryside, courtesy of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
Allister Nixon, CEO of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, said: “There is an event for all the family at the Great Yorkshire Showground as we count down to Christmas.
“Making use of all our versatile event space across the Showground’s 250 acres, from Fodder – Great Yorkshire Food Hall to The Pavilions and The Halls at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre.”
