//= get_the_date( 'dS F Y' ); ?>
Our team have been lucky enough to try our fair share of delicious food in Yorkshire in 2025.
From hearty brunch to delicate afternoon teas and evening fine dining worth remembering, here are some of our must-visit spots you should add to your list for 2026.

1) Afternoon Tea at Saltmoore, Sandsend
After opening last November, Saltmoore has quickly become a top destination in Yorkshire, for a spa weekend, wood-fired pizza on the beach or fine dining.
One of our favourite offerings of this gorgeous coastal hideaway has to be their afternoon tea. Served in the bright and airy Orangery, this afternoon tea showcases quality ingredients and is presented beautifully.
It’s the perfect weekend treat after a walk along Sandsend.

Up next is brunch at Thirty Nine, a fantastic neighbourhood cafe and brunch stop off. Changing their decor and menu with the seasons, we loved sampling their spring brunch.

There’s a true community feel, and Thirty Nine just had to make our list of top places to try in Yorkshire, 2026.

3) Fletcher’s Restaurant at Grantley Hall, Ripon
For fine dining and even finer service, there’s one place that immediately comes to mind. Fletcher’s restaurant at the 5-star Grantley Hall is a showstopping experience from beginning to end.
Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the intimate Norton Bar, before taking your seat at Fletcher’s. Classic British cuisine is presented beautifully.

A favourite of ours while exploring the cobbled streets of this North Yorkshire coastal town, Mary’s Sandwich shop. Seriously good sandwiches, proper coffee or a pint if that’s more your thing.
There are options for the meat lovers and veggies alike, along with plenty of produce you can take home with you ( or just take out for a windy beach picnic).
5) Brunch at Cavo, York
Cavo also opened in 2025, and luckily for us, we were some of the first to try this all-day brunch, bar, and restaurant spot. Pastries are supplied by Little Arras, a York favourite, and brunch classics can be enjoyed in this contemporary eatery.
Interiors are sleek and modern, giving a relaxed contemporary feel to the space.
Come the evening, their selection of small plates are packed with flavour, paired perfectly with a glass of red ( or two!).

6) Rooftop dining at Uyare, Leeds
Now we have Uyare, a rooftop restaurant and bar, new for 2025 and brought to us by the owners of the infamous Tharavadu, a favourite restaurant amongst celebrities and locals alike in Leeds.
With sleek interiors and a terrace overlooking Leeds’ City Centre, Uyare presents Southern Indian dishes with contemporary flaire.
Paired with a chilli mango margarita, taste simmered curries and street food small bites. Keep a lookout for their next events too.

7) Evening dining at Bettys York or Harrogate
Betty’s is arguably one of the most iconic foodie offerings in Yorkshire, known for their fat rascals, rich fondant fancies and afternoon teas.
Now, their York and popular Harrogate branches have been offering evening dining, where the same friendly, attentive service meets indulgent evening dining.
