Sir Dukes Bar & Grill Celebrate 3rd Birthday with Giveaway Worth £400
Celebrating their 3rd birthday this month Wetherby’s renowned Sir Dukes Bar and Grill have the ultimate giveaway of food and drink worth £400, for one very lucky guest and seven of their friends.
As one of Wetherby’s best restaurants and Yorkshire’s favourite steakhouses, known for their high quality produce, mighty sharing boards and quirky setting, they have come a long way since their opening.
Co-Owner Marcus Emadi commented: “When I signed the lease for Sir Dukes three and half years ago, I had £30,000 saved up to somehow open a restaurant that the people of Wetherby would be proud of. Accepting a loan of £20,000 from my parents, I was fully committed to bringing burgers, loud music and tongue in cheek service to an area that was crying out for a bit of originality. The first three months certainly was a learning curve, I realised people wanted something slightly more serious. So instead of championing burgers, we started celebrating Yorkshire beef at its finest. Fast forward 3 years, we have a restaurant full of character and charm, 62,000 followers on Facebook and to many a place that is recognised as a stalwart of the Yorkshire dining scene.”
