Yorebridge House wins best small and exclusive property at Condé Nast Awards
Yorebridge House has been awarded Best Small & Exclusive Property at the 2026 Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence.
It’s an amazing achievement and a well-deserved recognition of the hotel’s commitment to outstanding hospitality, dining and personalised service in the beautiful setting of the Yorkshire Dales.
Each year, the Condé Nast Johansens Awards celebrate outstanding hotels and venues all over the world. The winners are based upon quality, style, and their unwavering high standards.
The judging process relies on guest reviews and professional assessments to guarantee that only the best of the best receive acknowledgement for their excellence.
Nestled in the scenic village of Bainbridge, Yorebridge House did exactly that. Formerly the Headmaster’s House and School, it merges modern luxury with the charm of the Dales. It offers uniquely designed rooms and features an award-winning restaurant, making it the perfect countryside getaway.

This excellent news follows the recent confirmation of the hotel’s continued 3 AA Rosette status for exceptional culinary quality, in their restaurant led by Head Chef Dan Shotton.
