The Queens Arms, Litton

This remote village pub with rooms in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is highly rated for its Yorkshire pies. Under the stewardship of owners Michelle and Matthew Birtley, the quaint 17th-century inn serves up award-winning pies and puddings – all made in house. Food here is served in the bar area, which its website advises “you will share with the locals, farmers, their dogs – and even possibly a visiting darts team.”
