After rumbling across the original cobbled driveway, enter the Inn and relax in their homely surroundings. Warm up beside the roaring log fires in one of North Yorkshire’s most iconic pubs, before collecting your cricket ball key to one of their fifteen boutique rooms.

If a shorter visit is more for you, then enjoy a sumptuous meal from the chalked-up menu boards or pop in for lunch/dinner on a day out exploring.

The Blue Lion at East Witton is renowned for its extensive wine list, together with real ales from the local Black Sheep Brewery in nearby Masham.

General Manager Melanie Jackson who joined the team in summer 2023 has big plans to make The Blue Lion even better than before. Creating a blend of quintessential English coaching inn with modern comfort to relax and recharge.
