Goldsborough Hall is a privately-owned C17th country house and former Royal Residence, offering a unique 3-AA-Rosette award winning dining experience, enhanced by an exquisite historic setting.

Deliberate over mouth-watering menus in the comfortable Library, whilst enjoying an aperitif. Follow in royal footsteps as you dine in the Goldsborough Hall dining room, with its majestic marble fireplace and grand piano, savouring delicious dishes, created with Yorkshire’s finest produce, some of which is home-grown in the Halls kitchen gardens.

Lunch at Goldsborough Hall and Royal Afternoon Tea is served daily in The Orangery, is also popular. Guests have the pleasure of exploring the Halls 12 acres of beautiful gardens. They are a delight for the senses, and incorporate many features of both historic and botanical interest, including the quarter-of-a-mile-long lime tree walk and a copse of Japanese cherry trees, presented to Princess Mary by the Emperor of Japan on the occasion of her marriage, along with the quintessential deep, herbaceous borders, befitting of an English stately home.

Seventeen guest rooms and suites provide sumptuous accommodation. Both residential and non-residential diners are welcome to dine here, and residents have the option of private dining in their own guest suite if preferred. Pre-booking is a requirement.
