An evening with Great British Menu Star Ahmed Abdalla
On 10th November, join us at CrowdedHouse in Leeds for a very special evening of dining, as Ahmed Abdalla joins forces with Head Chef Simon Jewitt to create an exclusive six-course menu for a limited number of guests.
Former Head Chef at The Grand, York’s fine dining restaurant Legacy, Ahmed has quickly made his mark on Yorkshire’s culinary scene. Earning three AA Rosettes and inclusion in the Michelin Guide during his first year at Legacy, before becoming a BBC Great British Menu finalist in 2025.
Now preparing to open his own fine dining restaurant in 2027, this collaboration offers a unique opportunity to experience Ahmed’s cooking alongside one of Leeds’ best culinary talents, Head Chef at CrowdedHouse and double AA Rosette winner Simon Jewitt.
Set high above the city at CrowdedHouse’s incredible rooftop restaurant, the evening will bring together two distinctive cooking styles in a menu inspired by the flavours and produce of the new season. Complimented by a glass of champagne from the event’s sponsor Corney & Barrow independent wine merchants.
