Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate shares exclusive sneak peak to newest restaurant, Amber’s

Leading Yorkshire Hotel group, Cedar Court Hotel is creating a brand-new restaurant, Amber’s, at its flagship Harrogate hotel. 

The team has shared exclusive sneak peeks of the interior design and menu inspiration behind its brand-new restaurant, Amber’s, due to open this April with the aim of creating a new dining destination for Harrogate residents and visitors to the town.

The hotel, which has been undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme over the last 12 months, is investing £500,000 into the restaurant with a vision to create a high-quality dining experience through its menu, service and décor.

As part of the hotel group’s wider strategy to invest in the region and elevate their current dining offering, the investment follows further renovations to the ground floor of the hotel, including updating the lounge, bar, and other public areas.

With a focus on a carefully curated menu and a stylish eating experience, the restaurant will serve traditional British dishes with contemporary presentation using high-quality ingredients from the best of Yorkshire and the British Isles.

The interior design of Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate’s new restaurant is being orchestrated by award-winning interior design practice, Studio Two and the sneak peeks reveal the vision behind the designs for the new restaurant as well as the bar, breakfast area, hallway and private dining space.

The bar will offer the perfect mix of traditional and modern drinks and includes the signature Amber’s margarita cocktail, which is inspired by her travels to South America. Dishes will include 28-day dry-aged steaks Hereford breed Beef, sourced locally from Sykes House Farm, Wetherby, Roasted Gressingham Duck breast and Sunday lunches with all the trimmings. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes will also be available.

Cedar Court Harrogate also plans to recruit new talent to diversify and increase the team’s skillset, whilst nurturing their current hospitality team through training and development to grow and step up to the challenge of meeting increasing customer expectations and demand.

Cedar Court Harrogate is part of the Cedar Court Hotel Group and Yorkshire’s largest independent collection of four-star hotels. The hotel is currently undergoing a £500k transformation to its dining space.
