Harewood House brings together a front row seat to autumn in all its glory with seasonal Afternoon Tea, entry to the grounds and gardens as the leaves turn from green to crisp burnt orange, and leisurely tours around the house itself until sunset.

Naturally finger sandwiches like cucumber, lavender and mint infused cream cheese form the base of the savoury selection, whilst sweet accompaniments are made up of edible chocolate flowerpot layered with buckwheat and chocolate crumb and tropical mousse, as well as layered peach melba, macarons and scones.
A quintessentially British pastime, Afternoon Tea remains a firm favourite for visitors of Harewood House all year round, but autumn hits that beautiful sweet spot where the corners of the Billard Room remain cosy and inviting, the gardens are brighter than ever, with gold orange leaves crunching beneath your feet as you wander from the Himalayan Garden to the Drawing Room, and ingredients sought from Harewood House’s own walled garden have matured, ready to form the base of your Afternoon Tea inside.
Afternoon Tea here also offers free entry into Harewood House to explore the history of the past three centuries. Linger in the Cinnamon Drawing Room, and find your way through three separate libraries: which offer panoramic views of the estate gardens.
