Saw Grinders Union is tucked away inside Globe Work’s courtyard and it has a huge outdoor space for all your rendezvous needs. The bar features an extensive drinks menu and you have to get in on those smashed burgers.
Top tip: Get both of the big dips. You won’t regret it. And if that wasn’t tempting enough already, they do pancakes on the weekend. Coffee, cocktails & craft beer. Count me in!

Known locally as ‘The Tardis’, this unassuming pub operated by Thornbridge Brewery has several nooks to enjoy a pint in including a cosy games room and an oak-panelled snooker lounge with a full-sized snooker table.
The basement leads out into the ‘secret beer garden’ where you’ll find ample seating and live music on the weekend. You’ll have to venture out of town a bit for this boozer but it’s a worthy addition to the beer tour.
