Masons Campsite, Skipton
Tucked away in Appletreewick, Masons Campsite overlooks the River Wharf, with plenty of choice for where to pitch your tent. This campsite really caters to all, whether it’s a laid-back family gathering or a hiking retreat.
The Masons team prides themselves on being keen foodies. There’s a kitchen on site offering baked goods, ice creams and even sourdough pizzas – this is one of the best campsites in Yorkshire.
One of the best pubs in Yorkshire, The Craven Arms, is just down the road too – stop by for classic pub food in a cosy, quirky setting.

Breaks Fold Farm campsite, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
It doesn’t get more Yorkshire than this traditional working hill farm. Nestled on the edge of Thruscross reservoir, Breaks Fold Farm is perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and villages. Family-run, this farm has lots of wildlife and sheep too.
Dogs are allowed, so you’re welcome to bring your furry friend along to this camping trip.

Bayness Farm, Whitby
Breath in the sea air at Bayness Farm. Set high on the hillside of the north-west side of Robin Hood’s Bay, this campsite has unbeatable coastal views.
Robin Hood’s Bay is just a thirty-minute walk away from the farm, or the town of Whitby is just a ten-minute drive.
There’s a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families wishing to explore this lovely part of Yorkshire. Looking for somewhere to eat come the evening? Saltmoore is a 20-minute drive away, with a fantastic pizzeria and brasserie.
