Bettys Partners with Yorkshire Cancer Research for Big Brew Fundraiser

Bettys has partnered with Yorkshire Cancer Research for their Big Brew fundraiser. The Big Brew campaign encourages people to host their own Big Brew parties, whether it be a coffee morning with colleagues or tea and cake at home with the neighbours. These small acts of fundraising can add up to make a huge difference.

Everyone who signs up to host for the Big Brew will receive an exclusive Bettys Cookery School lemon tart recipe as part of their fundraising pack. This exclusive recipe also marks the 25th anniversary of the renowned cookery school, celebrating a milestone year.

Yorkshire Cancer Research is a charity that resonates deeply with Bettys. Ruth Burke-Kennedy, a cancer survivor, is one of Bettys esteemed employees and has fought bravely to overcome her breast cancer diagnosis.

Ruth said, “I’m cancer-free now, and that’s largely thanks to early diagnosis. I think it’s so important for people to recognise the importance of what Yorkshire Cancer Research does, by funding research that helps find cancer sooner.”

Bettys and Yorkshire Cancer Research are encouraging the community to come together through baking and tea to raise funds for this incredible charity that creates real change for a cause that affects so many lives.

You can host your big brew at any time, and the easiest way to collect donations is through a JustGiving page that will go straight to Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Sign up to Yorkshire’s Big Brew to help fundraise for this amazing charity that makes a huge difference for countless people affected by cancer in Yorkshire.
