Forbici Sheffield to open this March
//= get_the_date( 'dS F Y' ); ?>
Neapolitan pizzeria Forbici has officially announced that it will open its doors in Sheffield at Millennium Square on Friday 27th March.
With business already booming in Manchester and the seal of approval by culinary heavyweight Marco Pierre White, Sheffield will be the second city to experience Forbici’s dedication to precision, craftsmanship, and authentically Neapolitan pizza.
Forbici will be open Monday to Saturday from 12 pm to 10 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 9 pm, delivering an unmissable pizza experience.
The pizzas themselves will feature their signature three-generation Biga dough, resulting in uniquely risen pizzas with towering crusts full of flavour. They use sweet San Marzano tomatoes and the finest Italian ingredients.
Diners can expect classic Italian options as well as Sheffield-inspired specials, including the Orchetta, which features classic fior di latte Agerola, sage and onion stuffing, roasted Italian porchetta Ariccia IGP, burnt apple puree, crispy pork crackling, Henderson’s relish, and parsley.

Forbici Sheffield to serve a pizza tribute to the classic sticky toffee pudding
For those with a sweet tooth, Forbici will serve the Parkin Pizza, a tribute to the British classic sticky toffee pudding. This dessert pizza has a toffee sauce base, crumbled parkin, and stracciatella ice cream on Forbici’s Biga dough.
Forbici’s menu includes traditional favourites like the Marinara, Margherita, and American pizzas, as well as Italian-inspired creations like the Provola e Pepe, topped with San Marzano tomatoes, smoked provola, black pepper, and fresh basil.
They also offer indulgent white-base pizzas, such as the Porcini e Tartufo, loaded with fior di latte, porcini mushrooms, Italian truffle sauce, and chives.
The name Forbici means ‘scissors’ in Italian, reflecting their unique method of cutting pizzas – always into four pieces and, of course, with scissors.
Forbici Sheffield officially opens on March 27th in Millennium Square, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2JJ.
