Popular Leeds Bar Announces New Kitchen Residency
Green Room in Leeds city centre has announced a brand new kitchen residency for the Autumn/Winter season.
Situated on Wellington Street, the new residency replaces popular street food vendor Braizin Squad who first ran terrace BBQs for Green Room in May 2023.
The residency was known for serving one of the best brunch menus in Leeds featuring classic dishes, Bali bowls and pancake stacks.
Set to shake up the menu at Green Room in Leeds, one of the city’s favourite street food businesses is taking the reigns at the rooftop terrace bar and kitchen.
Bastards Bistro currently resides at the Northern Market in Leeds city centre, operating The Lucky Snake serving a range of Asian delicacies from bao buns to salt & pepper chicken rice boxes.
The team is set to move into Green Room in Leeds on 23rd September with their own twist on some Green Room classics.
Announcing on Instagram, Bastards Bistro said “We are pleased and very proud to announce our next residency will be at the award-winning @greenroom_
Taking over the reins from our pals @braizinsquad as they move onto another exciting project themselves.
Expect Brunch / Lunch / Roasts and a few exciting events to be announced at a later date! We can’t wait to move into our new gaff!”
Bastards Bistro finishes its current residency at Northern Leeds Market on 16th September, ready for its launch at Green Room in Leeds.
Green Room in Leeds has proved extremely popular in the city since its opening. It was crowned one of the best bars in the city in the Oliver Awards hosted by Yorkshire Evening Post.
It also boasts one of the largest rooftop terraces in the city, making for a sun trap in the Summer and a cosy Winter garden in the cooler months.
