Euro-inspired Kapital beer hall, is set to open in Sheffield, becoming the largest of its kind in the city.
The brand-new venue will showcase fresh tank beer, continental cuisine, and a variety of live entertainment – all under one roof.

The venue is the latest venture from the award-winning team behind Two Thirds Beer Co. Known for its focus on craft beer, food and top class service the team are now taking things up a notch by blending elevated continental cuisine, fresh tank beer, cocktails and live big band entertainment into one all-day city centre destination.
Kapital co-founder, Ben Stubbs, said: “After 18 months of dedicated planning and relentless hard work, we’re incredibly proud to finally announce our opening date.
“Kapital will bring something totally unique to our hometown of Sheffield, from tank-fresh Czech lager and weekly big band performances to a full-scale restaurant serving up modern beer hall classics and Sunday roasts.”

Spanning two floors, the new 4,500 sq ft beer hall and restaurant will be located in the £470m Heart of the City development.
“This prime location, right in the midst of our city’s vibrant transformation, is the perfect setting for an independent, Sheffield business like ours to invest significantly in establishing our showcase venue.” Ben added.
Kapital beer hall is the brainchild of the team behind Sheffield’s renowned Two-Thirds Beer Co., located on Abbeydale Road.
The site will offer the single biggest European beer selection within the city centre, costing over £500,000, and will shine a spotlight on the rich traditions and cultures of the iconic beer cities of Brussels, Pilsen, Prague and Munich.

The space will be dominated by four huge stainless steel beer tanks filled with fresh, unpasteurised Budvar Czech lager – delivered directly from the brewery cellars in South Bohemia to Sheffield every week. It will also boast an outdoor beer garden, pan-European restaurant and private hire space with panoramic views.
In the warmer months, the site will offer customers an outdoor beer garden and private hire space, complete with panoramic views.

Ben added: “Bringing the near-religious experience of drinking tank-fresh, unpasteurized Czech beer to Sheffield for the first time in our city’s history is just one of many exciting and unique features that Kapital will offer.”
Sheffield is already home to a thriving scene of bars and restaurants, and with Kapital beer hall now joining the mix, the city’s culinary and nightlife repertoire just got even more exciting. Construction of Kapital is now underway and beer lovers can expect it to open on the 27th of June, you can keep an eye on them by following them on Instagram.
