Two of Yorkshire’s biggest culinary names have come together for a rather special Made in Oldstead collaboration, and the best part? We’re giving you the chance to enjoy it for yourself.

Michelin-starred chefs Tommy Banks and Andrew Pern have joined forces to create an exclusive four-course box as part of the Made In Oldstead Chef Series, bringing a little Michelin-starred magic to dinner tables across the country.

With The Black Swan at Oldstead and The Star Inn at Harome just a few miles apart on the edge of the North York Moors, the two chefs have spent years dominating Yorkshire’s exceptional food scene.

It also marks a milestone for Andrew Pern, whose Michelin-starred Star Inn at Harome celebrates its 30th anniversary this year as well as being freshly crowned AA Restaurant of the Year for England.

So, what’s on the menu?

Expect a proper celebration of Yorkshire, from its coastline to its countryside, with a few fine-dining flourishes along the way.

Start things off with freshly baked Oldstead focaccia and whipped herb butter, followed by Andrew’s signature fish soup with Scarborough Woof, scallops and samphire, alongside a rather intriguing Kipper ‘Club’ Sandwich.

For mains, there’s pan-roasted Yorkshire beef rump and slow-cooked beef cheek, accompanied by horseradish risotto, root vegetables and a rich Theakston’s ale sauce.

And because no Yorkshire feast would be complete without something sweet, dessert is baked ginger parkin with spiced white chocolate ganache, Oldstead damson compote and hot treacle.
