Malmaison Leeds, is turning up the heat with a new look for its restaurant and a bold new menu to match.
Following a refresh, the Brasserie and Bar are returning to their roots and much-loved Chez Mal brand, rejoining Malmaison’s bustling foodie scene.
What’s new for Malmaison Leeds?
Malmaison Leeds general manager, Sara Hargraves, said: “Chez Mal at Malmaison isn’t just back – it’s better, bolder, and ready to lead the culinary scene in Leeds once again.

“Guests can look forward to great service and comfort that Malmaison have always been known for, set against the backdrop of our beautifully refreshed bar and restaurant. It’s a nod to Chez Mal at Malmaison Leeds’ heritage but reimagined for the future.’‘
An updated menu has also been introduced, breathing new life into some of our favoured brasserie classics.
The brand takes its name and spirit from Château Malmaison, where Napoleon and Josephine threw some of the most legendary feasts in history.
Chez Mal is here to carry on that legacy along some of the best offers in Leeds, serving up tasty food, cocktails, and warm hospitality.
Whether it’s for afternoon tea, a dinner date for two or a Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, diners can expect quality, ingredient-driven plates.
The ever-popular boozy Bottomless Brunch is available every Saturday too, a firm favourite if you’re visiting come the weekend.

Behind the bar, Malmaison Leeds have expert mixologists to raise the bar with a stylish new collection of show-stopping cocktails to choose from – delicious.
With space to welcome 60 diners, expect a contemporary British brasserie vibe with a subtle French twist. Chez Mal is open seven days a week from 7am-9pm.
The bar and restaurant have been revitalised to create a brighter, warmer, and more inviting atmosphere, with refreshed décor that adds a whole new level of comfort and style.
Sounds good? You’ll have to try this new gem for yourself and book directly at Malmaison.
