Multistories, Leeds’ summer pop-up launch bottomless brunch
//= get_the_date( 'dS F Y' ); ?>Leeds summer pop up, Multistories, has proved to be an incredible addition to the city’s skyline. With its panoramic views, alongside great food and drinks, it has become a sun trap hot spot for those looking for somewhere a little different to meet friends this summer. Now, the team behind it, Xperience Partners, has decided to add a series of bottomless brunches to the mix, launching on Saturday 7th August.
Every Saturday between 12 pm and 2.30 pm, visitors to the venue, located on Level 8 at Citi Park in the Merrion Centre, can soak up the sun over 90 minutes of brunch with food from one of the hottest chefs in the North, Matt Healy. DJs will be setting the scene with eclectic beats to accompany these Saturday sessions.
On Sundays, Multistories in Leeds will continue serving bottomless brunches, but these will be themed starting with ‘Diva Drag’ on Sunday 8th August, with local drag queen, Velma Celli playing host, alongside special guest star, Karla Bear. There will be two sittings – 12 pm until 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm until 6 pm.
Visitors are expected to go all out with their outfits and props will be provided to ramp things up a level. As the weekly theme changes, so too does the menu and chef Matt Healy will be starting proceedings with some tapas to tantalise the taste buds of the first visitors.
Arron Fishwick, Co-founder of Xperience Partners wants Multistories in Leeds to really stand out and said: “We’ve had some recent success with our Camden Helles tanker party and people watching the Euros on our big screen. It seemed like the logical next step to offer bottomless brunch but to take it to another level (literally) by introducing the themes on a Sunday for those looking for something a little different.
It’s been incredible to see people coming together and enjoying themselves at Multistories over the last month and a half and we are determined to keep things fresh and interesting by now offering the highest brunch in Leeds city centre. It’s exciting.”
For £30 per head, visitors can enjoy 90 minutes of food and drinks, including prosecco, house beer and cocktails. An additional £5 per head accesses a premium drinks menu.
Each week the themed bottomless brunches will change and people can expect to experience disco, the 80s and hip hop themes over the remainder of the summer. The best local DJ talent will be playing classic tracks to help visitors fully immerse themselves in the dizzy heights of this sky-high experience.
Multistories in Leeds is the creation of Xperience Partners, recently appointed as the operating partner for the successful Box On The Docks in Manchester. Their concepts are all about breathing new life into unused spaces and uplifting the hard-hit hospitality sector.
Arron concluded: “Our whole aim for Multistories in Leeds has been about bringing people from the hospitality sector back together to create something fun and cool. Not only that, but we want people to enjoy a safe space where they can meet and catch up over some delicious food and drinks.
It’s all about creating memories and sharing stories. Multistories is the perfect venue for that and the bottomless brunches, particularly the themed ones, will get people talking and are sure to be memorable.”
Multistories Leeds will continue to operate table service, something that has proved popular with customers and staff alike since the venue opened in June. Xperience Partners are keen to expand their offering further at Multistories, booking a programme of well-known DJs every Friday night as the bank holiday weekend approaches. Howard Donald of Take That fame will be kicking things off with a DJ set on Friday 13th August. More acts will be announced soon.
