The Potting Shed Harrogate Opens its Doors this May

The quintessential spa town of Harrogate is synonymous with the best of British, making it the perfect place for The Potting Shed Bar & Gardens to launch their exciting new venture.
Promising to bring the outdoors in with the brand’s rustic charm and unique sense of style, the seeds have been sown in the old Rift & Co. site with a £1.1m refurbishment that will see the venue become a cornerstone of entertainment for both locals and tourists alike. The interior design is in the hands of concept bar specialists Ormsborough Ltd., who are preening the Montpellier Gardens site to perfection as we speak. Featuring a row of trademark brightly-coloured wooden sheds with private bench seating, there will also be an indoor lawn and a number of beautiful hanging baskets displayed around the venue.

The brand-new watering hole will boast a mighty menu of bespoke cocktails, premium craft beers, artisan spirits and comfort food. With a down-to-earth garden theme running throughout the venue will welcome all with open arms and is both dog and family friendly.
The Potting Shed will be in full bloom from midday on Friday 25th May, when the grand opening will mark their 5th venue, having already enjoyed success in Guiseley, Northallerton, Bingley and Beverley. Plans are also well underway to launch the 6th venue, which will hit Trinity in Leeds in time for summer.

Jade Renner, Director is delighted to have secured this location and is excited to show the people of Harrogate what they have planned: “We take a lot of care in finding all of our sites and this landmark building fits perfectly with our brand and gives us a great opportunity,” she explained “Our bars are different, they’re fun, they welcome families and are even dog-friendly! So we are confident everyone will come and experience that for themselves once we open our doors.”
