San Carlo Flying Pizza launch new Autumn Winter menu

From the 2nd of October, San Carlo Flying Pizza in Roundhay will be launching their autumn/winter menu, and we are so excited. They’re refreshing their menu with the new season’s produce, introducing a variety of meat, fish and pasta dishes.

San Carlo Flying Pizza is a part of an Italian restaurant group serving up authentic Sicilian flavours. Despite being successful across the country, they remain family-run and with flavour at the centre of everything they do.

Marcello Distefano, CEO at San Carlo Group, said: “Our new winter menu is a testament to our ongoing commitment to exceptional quality and authentic Italian cuisine. After a fantastic summer across all our locations, this seasonal launch sets the tone perfectly for the festive period and the start of the Christmas and party season.”

Their new starters include fresh, vibrant flavours and comforting textures, featuring salmone affumicato (Smoked salmon) with shallots, capers, lemon and Altamura bread.

New sides include classic creamy mashed potatoes with truffle, perfect to be paired with refreshed carne plates. Try their beef cheek and spinach, rich and indulgent and warming. Slow-cooked and complemented by parsley, capers and garlic, it’s the perfect warming dish for the colder months.

For those who prefer seafood over red meat, the Branzino (Cartoccio) is a must-try. It’s a whole sea bass delicately baked in parchment paper, accompanied by tomatoes and olives that enhance its natural freshness.

Their pasta plates were no exception to their seasonal updates, expect pumpkin and pecorino stuffed pasta with sage, butter and fresh truffle. A truly comforting dish, perfect for the new season.

Book your table at their Street Lane restaurant and try these mouthwatering dishes for yourself.
