Shoot the Bull Wins British Street Food Awards Northern Heat
//= get_the_date( 'dS F Y' ); ?>
This weekend’s Leeds Waterfront Festival was jam packed full with boat races, water polo, a floating musical barge, lots of fun for the kids, cocktails and some of the best street food traders around.

Our favourite part of course was the British Street Food Awards Northern and Scotland Heat, hosted by Leeds Dock. With 15 amazing traders present, sun shining and Dragon Boat races taking place the atmosphere was electric.

The public got to decide who was their Street Food Winner and it was Chris Harrison from Shoot the Bull who took the title with his restaurant style dishes such as 36 hour cooked lamb breast, seared king scallops, blow torched mackerel and more! Congratulations to Shoot the Bull who will go through to the finals in September and well done to all the traders who took part. Here are the results:
- Shoot the Bull
- Pizza Loco
- Dim Sum Su
- Man Meat Fire
- Crema Caravan
- Wallace & Sons, Pickled Porker, Kukoos, Well Hung, Cowboys, KerbEdge, Fat Annie’s, Nasi Lemak
