Classes at The Grand York Cookery School
The Grand York Cookery School, located within York’s 5-Star Hotel, offers a tempting selection of 43 classes catering to all kinds of abilities, tastes and ages. The classes are led by Cookery School Director, Marc Williams.
Whether you are eager to perfect a warming Thai curry, or like to pretend you’re under the watchful eye of Mary Berry in the bake-off tent, there are plenty of classes to choose from. It’s a great gift for couples, foodie enthusiasts, or just a treat for yourself.

Italian : Masterclass
Up next is a firm favourite of ours, a full day Italian masterclass in The Grand’s cookery school. Learn to make and shape pasta from scratch, cook a fragrant saffron risotto and layer up a creamy tiramisu.
Recipes may vary, but what we do know is your delicious Italian will be perfect to take home and serve up with a class of wine ( or two). It’s a true feast, and you can perfect your culinary skills for dinner parties to come!
