Rooftop restaurant Uyare, Leeds earns place in Harden’s 2026 Guide
From those who brought us the award winning Southern Indian restaurant, Tharavadu, their new venture Uyare is already proving a hit in Leeds’ City Centre.
Taking over the previous Issho site at Victoria Gate Leeds, the restaurant offers delicious Southern Indian dining and sharing small plates, as well as contemporary cocktails.
Uyare, Leeds has now secured a place in Harden’s Guide 2026, with One of the Highest Ambience Ratings in the UK for an Indian Restaurant.
Favourite dishes included the Masala Cauliflower, Chopped Squid Masala, Lamb Pepper Fry, and the Keralan Chicken Curry.

Uyare blends contemporary South Indian cuisine with panoramic views, a curated cocktail bar, and an atmosphere designed to feel both luxurious and soulful.
The premium bar, Agni, offers a curated selection of fine wines, champagnes, crafted cocktails, and local craft beers, with the chilli mango margarita becoming a favourite for regulars.
